Good literature draws attention to a value system that explores the greatest and worse of the human experience and the growth that it makes (1). In my Final paper Blank, the memoir a brown girl dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson will be a story that explores a value system that is understood as Humanity. The understanding of human nature and its dilemmas with strong themes of death, destruction, truth, and change that is written in the noble language, carries great characters who speak across the times is what makes literature great {3}. In a brown girl dreaming, the value system that was being explored through the childhood experiences of destruction and grief through a little colored girl named Jackie who living in South Carolina was her family history. As her growing experiences continue onto another world called Ohio, where her parents were married for a short time to her pre-teenage year back in -between worlds South Carolina and Brooklyn, New York all through adulthood years, she continues her growing lessons on truth and change.

Stars Wars is a Sci fiction-family trilogy about Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi who learns the way of the force and falls in love with a young girl who he marries when he becomes a man. Senator Palpatine who murdered his own master befriends him as a friend and mentor and seduces him towards the dark side of the force where he is led to kill his friend and master Obi-wan Kenobi and eventually his own wife Padme who was pregnant with his twins Luke and Leia. What makes him turn to the dark side of the force is Senator Palpatine who continuously pushes him to distrust the Jedi Counsel and his mentor while fueling the idea that he can stop death by learning the powers of immortality that is only obtained by the dark side of the force.

Florence has not lived long enough in this town to love it but long enough to know she has seen strange things. Being a creature of habit, she does her chores in the afternoon where around 1 pm she would be in your backyard taking down the dry clothes from the lining and putting on the wet ones. She would look up at the sky and watch it change color from noon to sunset. When she is back in the house, she goes to her bathroom, wipes down her sink, and fixes her hanging towels so that it is straight in the row. She notices a big and bright star as she glances to the left side of her bathroom window glowing golden color. Wow, how early it is to see a star, she thought and every afternoon that she'd see it, until, she finally remembers to tell her mom about it over the phone after being exhausted listening to her about the game show last night.

It is a still day where I wake up in a room that feels comfortable because it seems familiar. I walk around the room which leads me to to the rest of the house that shows how perfectly lived in it was with wooden furniture dressed in a warm colored furnishings. Sometimes I can walk into a room and see my father and he is young, smiling and laughing while he is looking at me with love as I tell him about a dream I had where in another universe there is another man who looks like him but suffers a different fate. I see my mother and she feels different and I think she loves me now. The story seems to amuse her too. I am happy in this still day that suddenly seems to fade.

Halloween came from a holiday on October 31 was called All Hallow's Eve that was the day before All Saint's Day which was a day that everyone celebrated all the saints of the church who went to Heaven as a Christian holiday which last 3 days and was not religious. It was on November 1 that a new year has started in old Britain and Ireland many, many, many years ago in a festival of Samhain where souls of the dead were believed to rise and walk home while those who had died during the year made their way to the underworld. It has been said to keep evil spirits away people wore masks and set bonfires but this was also a great time to seek spiritual help in personal matters like health and marriage. Curiously, All Saint's Day was moved to November 1 after Pope Boniface IV in the 7th century moved the holiday from May 13th so that it may coexist as a pagan holiday making it secular again. Being a secular holiday, Halloween is filled with the traditional Trick or Treat which is thought to be from Britain where the poor was allowed to beg for food or people would go home to home asking for candy or they will pull a trick.
