It has been noted that to drive and talk while on the cell phone will warrant getting a ticket. After further study the conclusion that has been drawn that it is equivalent to drinking and driving! The sad part is that your attention should be on the road in front and both sides of you. The distraction factor comes into play because your attention is on what is going to appear on the cell phone next. More than likely, you are waiting for a response from the person on the other end impatiently.
The smart approach to this situation is wait until you come to a red light, or just shut it off altogether! Many serious accidents could be avoided. Such instances that have occurred are walking into pillars, glass doors, and seriously injuring yourself. Remember safety first or there might not be a tomorrow for you. Have your passenger take control of the cell phone while you take control of the steering wheel. Never, ever text while driving! If you anticipate a stressful ongoing conversation, then don’t use the cell phone while driving!
Chances are that you will vent and take your frustrations out on the gas pedal, or even worse slam on the brakes! Which in that case in order not to get rear ended the person following behind you would have to be a mind reader!
It is never a good idea to use a cell phone at a gas station! Why do you think that they have signs posted saying that? I had seen a video firsthand showing how dangerous it really is!
