2021 is hoped to be the revival of fashion after 2020’s daily looks of sweatpants and messy buns. With the vaccine and things finally starting to open and hopefully drift back to normal. With spring right around the corner, it's the perfect time to explore the patterns and colors we'll most likely see often!
Here are the prime colors and trendy patterns for the year 2021:
Pale green has been a popular color. Billie Eilish has been often spotted in bright green, which can be a little bit much for most people so the tamer pale green is the perfect combination of soft fashion with an alternative edge. Cardigan sets, straight-cut dresses, and baby tees.
Nothing is classier than nude colors. They can be dressed up and worn casually, but both give an edge of sophistication. After the rose gold and millennium pink trends from the past few years, a new shade of light pink had to take hold.
With Y2k looks and sweater vests back in style, it was only a matter of time until the revival of argyle. The popular color will most likely make its appearance in light blues, lavenders, and pinks, as well as the classic of black and white. I’m sure we’ll also see the pattern pop up on skirts as well.
Tie-Dye was a very popular quarantine pass time last year. Many flocked to craft stores to buy some supplies to dye everything from tapestries to socks. Now that everyone has the stuff they made last year, they need a place to wear it! The fun pattern will probably pop up often in the coming months
For those with a darker aesthetic, forest green is a great look on many people. TikTok really exposed people to different aesthetics and two very popular ones were dark academia and that lost castle in the first vibe. We also had a random Slytherin revival over the summer that transpired into a fashion style. Darker greens can be seen from all three. It’s a very flattering color on most people.
Trying to stay in trend but don't want to spend on it? Knowing popular patterns and colors is a great way to keep in touch with the times.
