When we hear the word 'Minimal Fashion', many things come to our mind like less clothes, less colors any many other things. Maybe it is just a feeling but the possibility of few items in your wardrobe might excite you because this way it is easier to get ready whenever you are going out at work or some other place.
Having more clothes often means we enjoy them less. Having a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. Minimalists defines to the idea that by owning less, we free up the time, energy, and money to get the most out of life. The style isn't boring, it's chic, timeless, tailored, elegant, and the most sought-after style in the fashion world when the details are right. Or maybe it’s a general feeling or vibe.
Keeping it simple the key of Minimal Fashion. Streamlined shapes, less colors are what minimalism is all about. Simplicity is the short word for it. It is timeless and lets the person’s beauty shine on its own. Cleaning out is great but to have a minimal wardrobe, you also have to buy less. Go for streamlines silhouettes, bold colors and that can easily fit a minimalist wardrobe. Next, fit is really important. A simple white t shirt can look very different depending on the cut. Also, add a piece or two of accessory like a simple cap or sunglasses which can completely change the look.
Minimalism is a lifestyle choice that involves reducing our belongings to bare minimum which is required actually. There are various strands of minimalism which includes de-cluttering, reducing and quality over quantity.
Minimal fashion is rapidly growing. It not only covers fashion but in various other aspects too like lifestyle, home decor etc. There are a lot of millennials and with this minimalism concept, it has taught taught them to save money and build capsule wardrobes.
If you want to create your own minimalist capsule wardrobe, here are some tips;
- Highlight any one accessory or item in your outfit.
- Neutral colors like, white, black or grey builds a solid minimalist base.
- Choose outfit that fits your body perfectly. It shouldn’t be clingy or baggy.
- There should be no ruffles or over trendy details in your outfit.
- Monochrome or subtle prints also works for a minimal outfit.
