The last time we did an article on Kyle Busch, we discussed his 98th Xfinity Series win at COTA. His 2021 Xfinity Series campaign continues down a path of glory as he picks up another win, this time at the very fast Texas Motor Speedway.
Kyle Busch continues living up to his "Candyman" name by picking up a win in his Mars Chocolate-sponsored Twix car. Driving for Joe Gibbs Racing in his #54 Toyota Supra, he won an overtime restart to take the win. Busch took home the checkered flag in the Alsco Uniforms 250, the shortest NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway.
On Saturday, June 12th, 2021, Kyle Busch won the Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. He held off Austin Cindric, last year's winner, in an overtime restart to land his #54 Twix Toyota Supra in victory lane.
Kyle Busch continues his success in the Xfinity Series and inches ever closer to the elusive 100th win. If he makes it there, he will be the only driver to win 100 Xfinity Series races, as he is already the current all-time wins leader.
Kyle Busch is competing in 5 Xfinity Series races in 2021. This includes 2 road courses, COTA and Road America. In addition to those, he will also race in Atlanta, Nashville, and Texas. Below is Kyle Busch's official 2021 schedule:
If you are into the wave of online betting that has taken over Michigan, then by taking a look at this schedule, you can always assume Kyle Busch is a safe bet. As of now, he is 2 for 2. He has now won one road course and one oval course as well.
Indeed, this is one of the best-looking cars that Kyle Busch has won with. Adding to his legacy of candy-themed paint jobs, Kyle Busch's race-winning car is being offered for preorder now by Lionel Racing, the official die-cast of NASCAR.
In one of their striking Raced Win products, the car will be made on a 1:24 scale with real race damage including scuffs and dirt from the race. These continue to be the most popular of the NASCAR die-casts.
In an exciting twist to the schedule of NASCAR's 2021 season, the sport will return to Nashville Superspeedway for the first time since 2011. Kyle Busch was very effective at this track in the Xfinity Series, taking home a win in 2009. He was notably criticized when his younger self took the guitar trophy from the race and smashed it in victory lane.
While this was one of the races that established Kyle Busch as the bad guy of NASCAR, it also was one of the races which showcased his absolute dominance of the lower series of NASCAR.
Look for Busch to be a heavy favorite when NASCAR returns to Nashville Superspeedway for the first time in 10 years.
