3 Reasons You Should Try Modded Minecraft

Minecraft is a good game to play, especially with all the updated content but mod packs contain so much more.

Minecraft is a video game in which players create and break apart various kinds of blocks in three-dimensional worlds. The game’s two main modes are Survival and Creative. In Survival mode, players must find their own building supplies and food. You aimed to survive and to build. They also interact with blocklike mobs or moving creatures. In Creative mode, players can get supplies easily and do not have to eat to survive. They also can break all kinds of blocks immediately, including the usually indestructible bedrock.

With vanilla, there is a lot of content, especially in recent updates that overhauled the nether and the ocean. However, with mods created by players, there are so many more possibilities.

There are numerous good reasons to choose a modded Minecraft over vanilla and I will list three of them for you.

1. Numerous different mod packs that focus on different styles of gameplay

Minecraft is a pretty open-minded game. You can choose the way your player model looks and what you want to focus on. You can try a game in creative mode, survival mode, or adventure mode.

There are mod packs that let you focus on building, packs that make survival easier or harder, packs that turn the game into an adventure story.

Some modpacks combine all of those options. Some packs are more unique, where you can turn into little bugs or become a superhero.

2. Choosing your favorite types of mods

There are just so many mods to choose from. People take time to pursue creativity in creating mods for themselves and for players. There are mods that let you grow unique crops, cook different types of food and get more types of fish. In some mods you can become a magical being, focusing on spells or alchemy. You can become a rat king or explore unique dungeons.

You can create your own modpacks from your favorite or pick 'and' choose mods in an existing modpack to choose from.

3. Following along with some of your favorite Minecraft content creators

There are so many people and groups that exist who only play, or at least focus on Minecraft. Some choose to only play vanilla Minecraft with no mods, but some prefer modpacks. Some of these people teach you how to use these mods or modpacks but some just have random fun. It can be a fun dynamic to watch.

Modded Minecraft can help you find something new to play, something new to learn. It can be fun and/or educational.

Check out CurseForge to find some large extensive modpacks. Remember to have some fun when you check out these mods and modpacks, even if you choose to not play with any of them.
