Luxury Hotel, Raffles At The OWO, London, Honored At Virtuoso's 36th Annual Travel Week Awards Ceremony

The 36th annual Virtuoso Travel Week concluded with a glamorous evening of recognition, celebrating outstanding member agencies, advisors, and brand partners from around the world. Held from August 10-16, this year’s Virtuoso Travel Week took place at the iconic Bellagio Resort & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino, Vdara Hotel & Spa, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

The star-studded gala on August 15th at Bellagio was nothing short of a Hollywood spectacle, featuring a red-carpet entrance and a breathtaking performance by Grammy®, Emmy®, and Tony® Award-winning actress, singer, author, and producer Cynthia Erivo. Erivo, who will soon grace the silver screen as Elphaba in Universal’s highly anticipated film adaptation of the musical WICKED, captivated the audience with her remarkable talent.

The event brought together the most distinguished names in the luxury travel industry, shining a spotlight on Virtuoso’s most esteemed individuals and brands. Among the many accolades, the award for Best New or Reimagined Hotel stood out, honoring a hotel that has either newly opened or undergone an extensive renovation, resulting in a transformative experience.

The prestigious award went to Raffles At The OWO, London, a property that has seamlessly blended historical significance with modern luxury. Located in one of London’s most storied addresses, the Grade II* listed former Old War Office has been meticulously transformed, reopening as Raffles At The OWO, London for the first time since 1906. This landmark building, once the domain of Britain’s most illustrious statesmen and spies, including Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming, now hosts the UK’s first Raffles hotel, offering 120 opulent rooms and suites.
