Shattuckite is a rare copper silicate mineral known for its striking deep blue and turquoise hues. It often forms in association with other copper-based minerals like malachite, chrysocolla, and azurite. With a hardness of 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale, it is relatively soft and fragile. Shattuckite is believed to enhance intuition, communication, and spiritual insight, making it popular among crystal enthusiasts. It was first discovered in the Shattuck Mine in Arizona, from which it gets its name. Due to its vivid coloration and metaphysical properties, shattuckite is widely used in jewelry and energy healing practices.
