I absolutely live for the heart-pounding, young love excitement feeling that these books rekindle in me.
Whether you're already a teen romance fan like me or are looking for a place to start in the genre, you've come to the right place!
These 10 upcoming books are ones you should mark on your calendar:

I'm so excited for Kate in Waiting! Becky Albertalli never disappoints with her authentic teen voices.
Love Is for Losers sounds perfect for my daughter who claims she'll never date anyone. The diary format seems like it would make it really relatable.
These all sound amazing but I'm particularly intrigued by Better Than the Movies. A rom-com about rom-coms? Sign me up!
Honestly not sure about The Jasmine Project. The whole family setting up fake dating scenarios feels a bit problematic to me.
I strongly disagree with that take on The Jasmine Project! It sounds like a fun twist on dating shows and family dynamics.
Anyone else looking forward to Once Upon a Quinceañera? The Miami setting sounds perfect for a summer read.
As someone who worked in retail during high school, The Holiday Switch speaks to me on another level. Those holiday season work vibes!
I just finished Love Is for Losers early and let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations. The protagonist's voice is so genuine.
Moon Fuentez sounds like it addresses social media influence in such an interesting way. Plus enemies to lovers is my favorite trope!
Im actually tired of the enemies to lovers trope. Feels like every YA book uses it nowadays.
Finally some LGBTQ+ representation in Love & Other Natural Disasters! We need more of these stories.
Has anyone noticed how many of these feature family relationships alongside the romance? I love that depth.
Faking Reality seems like it could be either really good or really bad. Reality TV plotlines can be tricky to pull off.
The cover art for all these books is absolutely gorgeous. Especially How Moon Fuentez Fell in Love with the Universe.
I wonder if teens actually relate to these stories or if they're mainly read by us nostalgic adults.
As a high school librarian, I can confirm teens absolutely devour these books. They love seeing themselves represented.
Looking forward to How Not to Fall in Love. The whole cynical vs romantic dynamic seems fresh.
These all seem to lean heavily on tropes but I guess thats what makes romance fun.
Anyone else excited about the diversity in these releases? Different cultures, orientations, and experiences being represented.
The Holiday Switch giving me all those Hallmark movie vibes but make it YA.
